The history of Breath of God Christian Fellowship begins with the Calling of our Pastor and Founder, Garnett Simpson Grier. an ordained Minister with a Bachelor Degree in Theology and a Master in Divinity. Her formal education includes West LA College, Fuller Theological Seminary and Vision Christian .

Pastor Grier is an author, educator, conference and seminar speaker and a community activist. Her dynamic speaking abilities makes her a vital part of the Christian Community. Part of the vision of the ministry as stated by Pastor Grier, "We are commissioned to educate people concerning Christ and as they would grow to emulate what they were being taught then people would recognize the change in them and thus the opportunity for evangelism would arise. Breath of God is determined they would not just affect the Church within the walls, but the community outside the walls as well.
